Uptime Challenge

Uptime Challenge (UpC) is a script for Messenger Plus! Live (MP!L). It is one of the first scripts to use javascript, delphi, php and mysql. The idea was initially concieved by John Anderton and was developed by him along with lopardo.

This script aims to keep a track of record uptimes of its users via Windows Live Messenger (WLM) using the scripting interface provided by MP!L.
The user is required to download and install the script at which time he shall need to register an account in the database.

The script shall pulse your uptime (if it is a record for the user) at the script's startup, shutdown and periodically every 10 minutes. Thus the user doesn't need to pulse to the server himself though if the need be, he can do so.

Installing and using the script:

  • Make sure you have Plus! installed and Windows Live Messenger is running and is signed in.
  • Double click Uptime Challenger.plsc.
  • Create An account and enter the account details in the script's options window.
  • Activate your account.
